• What To Write

(Because Writer’s Block Is Not Invited Here)

First of all—don’t let overthinking ruin a perfectly good stamp. This card does not require poetry, just you as you are!

But, if your brain is blank, steal one of these:

10 Easy Ways to Make Someone’s Day (No Profound Wisdom Required)

    1. Share a favorite memory. “Remember that time we…” is always a winner.

    2. Just say hi. Truly. That’s it. Hi.

    3. Name what they’re going through. “I know this season has been heavy. I’m with you.”, or “how’s the new job/house/relationship”

    4. Ask about their dog. Or their cat. Or their garden. (“Tell your dog I said hi.”)

    5. Three powerful words. No essay needed. “Thinking about you.”

    6. Or more than three words: “Thinking about you because I just …ate a pint of Ben & Jerry’s. …got lost in Trader Joe’s. …laughed at something you would’ve loved. (Specific = delightful.)

    7. “I’m looking forward to…” Coffee soon. Summer. That trip. A deep exhale together.

    8. Say thank you. For who they are. For what they did. For existing.

9.Tell them something you admire about them. "

    10. Just say HI. We list it twice because really it’s just that easy!

    Remember:

    This isn’t about being impressive.

    It’s about being connected.

    Ink > algorithm.

    You’ve got this.
